Mr. James An

BA(Teaching), BE

James An is the founder of James An Coaching College founded in 1986. He has been the pioneer in after-school coaching for primary and secondary students in Australia. James founded ABC Internet College in 1997. Author of several books on Scholarship Exams and Selective Schools Tests, also the author of HSC Maths 2 and 3 units. One of the 12 Great Innovators in Australia chosen by Business Review Weekly in 2000. Many of James An’s students topped in the HSC over many years.




Dr. Lloyd Dawe

BSc (Syd) Dip Ed (Syd) M Ed (hons) (UNSW) Ph D (Cambridge) HFTGNSW

Formerly Associate Professor of Mathematics Education Head of the School of Development and Learning and Associate Dean, Faculty of Education University of Sydney

Dr. Dawe has an established impressive record as a teacher, University Professor, author, and researcher in mathematics education. In recent years he has held appointments as a consultant to PLC Sydney, Trinity Grammar School, Inaburra and Queenwood schools in NSW, and Penrhos College in Western Australia. He was honored in 2016 as an Honorary Fellow of the Teachers Guild of NSW.




Mrs. Frances Fleeton

BSc (Syd), Dip. Ed., MLMEd (New), FTGN, MACE.

Having won a Commonwealth Scholarship in 1973, Frances undertook a Science degree at Sydney University, while managing a young family and decided to continue studying with a Diploma of Education at Sydney Teachers’ College. After teaching in various leading high schools, she was fortunate to be appointed in senior roles at many well-known schools in NSW.

Mrs. Frances Fleeton undertook many interstate and overseas tours for both recreation and study of the environment, as well as introducing a comprehensive and sequential outdoor education program that complimented the pastoral program of the school, which she had developed. During this time, she was a member of the AIS PDHPE Advisory Group. She also undertook many roles during its development, including Principal, Head of Junior School, Deputy Principal, and Head of Science as well as teaching Science. In retirement, she enjoys developing activities for her grandchildren and maintains an active interest in educational issues.




Mr. Richard Stevens

DipTG, ACP, MACE, AFACEL, FCollP, FTGN, FRGS

Richard has been in the school sector for more than 50 years. He is an asset to the Australian school system with his wealth of experience in teaching and administration. Richard has been involved in various leading schools in NSW in various capacities and held very high positions. He has authored and publishes various academic books during his career.
